Orb Data and Peacock Engineering Announce Strategic Partnership

BURNHAM September 6^th, 2010 Two of IBM’s Premier Business Partners, each a specialist with the Tivoli software brand, today announced a strategic partnership to promote, sell and support project implementations of the Tivoli portfolio of automation products.

Orb Data's impressive legacy of projects to implement IT infrastructure management, combined with Peacock Engineering's history of successful implementations of the Maximo suite of products, allows the two companies to jointly offer a complete IT service management capability, which meets the needs of companies looking to fully exploit the investment they have made in Information Technology.

The products

The IBM Tivoli NetcoolOMNIbus product suite consolidates complex IT and network operation management tasks. IBM Tivoli Service Request Manager (TSRM) and Asset Management for IT (TAMIT) products provide the solutions to manage the IT assets (software and hardware) and to control the workflows and service responses to system faults and planned infrastructure and software changes. They link with the Tivoli Discovery tools to provide a comprehensive Configuration Management Database (CMDB) of deployed assets, and through Workflow and Service Level management the products support controlled responses to system events.
