Enterprise Alert complements IBM Tivoli products with rapid, advanced notifications via multiple communication channels and adds capabilities for remote access and management of critical incidents, e.g. via Smartphone or SMS text.

Upon the identification of a critical event in IBM Tivoli, ITM, Enterprise Alert automatically initiates a notification workflow addressing the responsible people with relevant information via the most suitable communication channel.

The closed-loop notification process with its integrated tracking of delivery receipts and responses enables automated escalation chains. This ensures the delivery of notifications to responsible and available personnel.  Any acknowledgement, e.g. via an SMS text reply or a phone keypad input is processed and the event or ticket status is updated in real-time, e.g. in ITM or Maximo. This ensures ultimate transparency of the ongoing communication of critical alerts.
