Incident and task assignment

For instance, upon activation of a situation, administrators in charge are notified automatically via a suitable notification channel. Any acknowledgement is transferred back to IBM Tivoli product in use enabling a real-time overview on accountabilities for critical incidents.

Mobile Updates

With Enterprise Alert service staff can remotely update and manage situations and events. Work progress details can be sent to Maximo or ITM for example, e.g. via SMS text or using a Smartphone app.

Alerts to affected users

In case of unexpected downtimes of IT systems users can be informed automatically. Enterprise Alert supports multi-target notifications enabling parallel notifications to users, management and IT service personnel upon the occurrence of system failures. This feature can also be used to inform IT users on the work progress and when systems are up and running again. This leads to significantly reduced call centre load.

Remote incident creation

Administrators can create incidents while on-the-go and without physical access to the console. This can for instance be done by sending a SMS text or using a Smartphone app.
