  1. Tivoli servers and software are owned and managed by Orb Data at its Data Centre.
  2. The management servers connect via VPN to an Orb Data Management Server acting as a gateway to the servers
  3. An instance of IBM Tivoli Monitoring is created and available for use in less than 7 days
  4. You can access  & deploy agents you need.
  5. You can access your own management portal over the web
  6. Management infrastructure events are sent to Orb Data

IBM Tivoli SmartCloud Monitoring

IBM’s capacity and planning tool for VMware IBM® Tivoli® SmartCloud Monitoring leverages the VMware 6.2.3 agent, a new capacity analytics database, the Tivoli Integrated Portal (TIP) and Tivoli Common Reporting (TCR) 2.1 with an embedded Cognos reporting engine to provide the answer. It can also take a feed from Tivoli Application Dependency Discovery Manager (TADDM) so that changes made to the Virtual infrastructure can be displayed alongside the alerts and capacity data.
